BovINE (Beef Innovation Network Europe) is an EU-funded thematic network project focused on knowledge exchange within the European beef sector. The network involves scientists, advisors, farmers and other relevant stakeholders. The project is based on a consortium of 18 institutions from 10 European countries. In Germany, the Institute for Animal Welfare and Husbandry of the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institute (FLI Celle) - it is responsible for the work package "Animal Health and Welfare" - and the Bundesverband Rind Schwein (BRS Bonn) are involved. 

In the second Transnational Meeting the results of the last year will be presented and the topics to be worked on in the third and last year will be selected. Practitioners from all professional groups are invited, regardless of whether they are directly involved in the project.
