The Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology (IZI) is organizing the "Workshop on Arthropod-Borne Diseases transmitted by ticks, mites, fleas, and lice" this year. It takes place for the first time on the isle of Riems on 15th and 16th November 2018. A few participating and poster places are still available, so that the deadline for submitting poster abstracts has been extended for participants until 15th October.
Keynote Speakers are Elton Rogozi from the Control of Infectious Diseases Department, Institute of Public Health in Tirana, Albania, and Ard Nijhof from the Institute of Parasitology and Tropical Veterinary Medicine, Free University of Berlin.
