The Friedrich-Loeffler-Institute (FLI) has raised the risk of infection and spread of avian influenza for wild waterfowl, poultry and domestic birds by one level in view of the autumn migration of birds and falling temperatures, which favour the stability of the pathogen. Only the risk for German cattle remains at a very low level.
