The working group Bacterial zoonoses in companion animals also runs the sequencing and proteomics laboratories. The Illumina and Oxford Nanopore platforms are available to all the working groups of the IBIZ. The resulting data obtained from research, routine diagnostics and NRL activities are evaluated and validated in cooperation with the bioinformatics working group.
The proteomics platform includes devices from Serva and GE for research on pathogenicity markers and the development of diagnostics.
