To achieve our research responsibilities there are especially therefore build facilities in the institute:
- The feed mill to produce feed for all experiments in nutrition, including
- one hammer mill
- two mixing lines
- two pelleting plants
- technique to produce pre mixtures
- storage bins for approximately 400 t raw materials
- storage for complete feed (8 silos, altogether 2 t)
- The experimental centre
- including possibilities to make balance trials with pigs, sheep and poultry
- operating room
- The slaughterhouse with potentiality for experimentally slaughtering of cattle and pork
