The Friedrich-Loeffler-Institute (FLI) has lowered its current assessment of the spread of the disease and its introduction into poultry farms to moderate. Despite the slightly relaxed situation, the epidemic is still ongoing, especially in wild birds breeding in colonies. Therefore, the FLI does not deviate from its previous recommendations for the protection of poultry against the introduction and possible further spread of avian influenza.
