The basic aim of the project is to gain a better understanding of the influence of biotic and abiotic factors on arbovirus emergence in Germany and, associated with this, to improve the assessment of the relevance of known and previously unknown arboviruses for veterinary and human medicine. Based on this, targeted intervention research should minimize the risk of arbovirus transmission to animals and humans.
