Changing to temporary crating at birth or free farrowing gives rise to many questions. On November 24th, 2021 the following topics will be addressed in the industry-oriented online event „Alternatives to the farrowing crate”:
- „A global overview of the political situation and farrowing legislation“
- “Key decisions and choices when deciding on alternatives to farrowing crates”
- “Experiences from a pig farmer: I chose loose lactation and would do it again”
The presenters will answer questions from the audience. Attendance is free.
The seminar adds practical aspects to the contents of the workshop "Freedom in Farrowing and Lactation 2021" (FFL21).
